Ralph and I stopped in Beckley, West Virginia.  These pictures are from the Coal Miners Exhibition.  We both decided we were lucky to not have been living here during those years.  It was a very hard life.

One room school in the Coal Town.  Boys only came school until they were old enough to work in the mines.
