Looking back on 2014, there were too many things that we liked.  So, we will post the places and things we won’t forget.

We went all the way up to Prince Edward Island and there were signs everywhere to watch out for moose. We never seen a moose but did see something totally unexpected. A camel in New Hampshire.

While out geocaching miles off the park trail, we walked up on this cow out in the middle of nowhere. We were so surprised this cow was living out there and wasn’t paying us any attention. We told the park rangers when we got back and they said they had told the owner a few years ago about the cow but he has never claimed it.

The Elk came out in the evening at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. They came to eat the grass and play with each other. It was an amazing sight.
The Empire State Building and the views from the top were both amazing.
911 Memorial was both beautiful and haunting.

  1. I envy you – in my lifetime I’ll never have the experience of seeing the country as you have. Photos are absolutely beautiful.
