Mossy Cave, Waterfalls and Geocaching in Utah

Ralph and I took a ride out Hwy 12 to geocache for awhile and came across Mossy Cave Trail.  It is located in the northern section of Bryce Canyon National Park, on Hwy 12, approximately 4 miles east of the intersection of Highways 12 and 63.  It’s a great little hike that leads you across a bridge to a waterfall.  To get to Mossy Cave you have to take the fork and go up a steep incline.  I liked the waterfall better but it was a nice hike.  You will also see some Hoodoos and windows all while hiking along this trail.

So it doesn’t look like a cave but it does have water dripping through the rock. There was still some ice under it where the sun doesn’t shine.

    1. It is scary. I start feeling panicked, then I freeze until I talk to myself and calm all the voices in my head.
